My number one pet-hate is polishing chrome kitchen appliances. Toasters, kettles, coffee machines. They all end up covered in fingerprints, limescale and greasy marks.
Today I’m tackling a chrome kettle with just one secret weapon, a lime! Lime can very easily replace vinegar when cleaning. Its acidity level is perfect for dissolving tough grease and removing limescale. Simply rub your half lime in gentle circular movements (make sure to squeeze out the juices) then follow by rinsing and polishing.
I have found lime to be an extremely useful tool for general cleaning and odors and is much more effective than most products on the market today.
Being completely natural and compostable, it’s quickly become an Indiana jazz favorite!
