Cleaning Tip for Perfect Interior
This cleaning tip is called ‘zooming in’ and ‘zooming out’.  It’s a great exercise for your eyes as well!Â
Â
What I like to do when I am cleaning is make sure that (you know when you  are doing the ‘wet, dry, buff,’ the ‘chunk by chunk’ and the ‘top to bottom’).
I periodically zoom right into the detail of what I am cleaning.Â
Â
By doing this you ensure a really thorough clean and make sure that one picks up all of the dirt. Perhaps the more stubborn bits of a clean that really need removing. Â
Bathroom Â
A good example of this would be the inside the shower, the shower wall, the glass. There will be stubborn bits of scum, soap, that if you just wet, dry, buff you might not pick up on.Â
Â
As you zoom out at the end of a clean I always, always, always as a matter of real importance (and I enjoy this bit), zoom out. I will take a step back and look at my work.Â
Â
At that point it allows me to think, is there something that does not feel right?Â
Â
Living Room/Bedroom
It might be that the curtains are a bit out of sync. Maybe we have got one curtain that is almost shut and the other one is almost open. So, it would be lovely for them to be in alignment with each other.Â
Â
Much the same with cushions. For instance, you may want to place them so that they look and feel really, really inviting.
With items such as perfumes in my room, I will group then together and maybe organise them so they are the same distance apart or in a certain pattern.
I have quite a few products –Â I organise them in height order, the highest on the left-hand side and then work my way down.Â
Â
Doing these little things makes all the difference when you walk into the room. As a result everything is there for a beautiful purpose.
It either has a great use or it brings you love because it is presented back to YOU with joy.Â
Â
So, these are the four tips I really rely on and what I train all my staff to do to make a home and a space beautiful.Â
