HOUSEKEEPING RECRUITMENT SERVICE – WE FIND YOUR PERFECT HOUSEKEEPER

Recruiting a housekeeper can be one of the most important decisions you will make. There are so many things that need to fall into place to ensure there is a perfect match between you. We know how to achieve this.
I take great pride in having 20 years of experience working as Head of Housekeeping for high net-worth individuals and Five Star establishments. I know what set of skills and personality traits are required to deliver a life-changing service and what it takes to build a long term trusting relationship.
You may need house help in your informal family home for a couple of days per week. You might be a proud owner of a formal residence with a full complement of staff and look for a full-time live-in housekeeper to join your team. You might own a hotel and look to cut down the cost and uncertainty of dealing with agency cleaners. Whatever your circumstances, I can try to find the right Housekeeper to suit you and your environment. A housekeeper that stays.

What does a housekeeper do?
A housekeeper is ideal for individuals or businesses seeking to employ someone to do a wide variety of domestic duties.
Typical duties can include cleaning, vacuuming, mopping, washing, ironing, shopping, cooking & food preparation, and help with the running of the house.
Also, some more skilled housekeepers can take care of antiques, porcelain, and silver, arrange flowers, oversee tradesmen, organise luxury wardrobes and take care of high-value accessories and jewellery, run errands, and feed and walk the family pet.
What is your recruitment process?
We prefer to call it a careful matchmaking service between your family and your ideal candidate.
We get to know you, your requirements, your personality, and lifestyle to ensure a perfect fit. Your absolute confidentiality is guaranteed – we insist on the preparation and signing of the Non -Disclosure Agreement for your absolute peace of mind – even if our initial discussions do not progress to the matching stage.
Our database of housekeepers available for work immediately is growing daily – but we also offer a headhunting service. All our candidates go through a three-stage interview process, rigorous referencing, and skills tests. We will select several profiles and discuss your vacancy with them without revealing your details. We will then present you with the selected written profiles to choose from.
Once you have made the selection we will arrange for initial interviews via video. We can then start to narrow down your choice. In the event you do not feel the initial connection with a candidate, we will repeat the process.
When we find your perfect housekeeper we do not leave the scene! We will stay in touch at regular intervals to ensure that your relationship is progressing well and offer an Aftercare Program.
How much does a housekeeper get paid?
Housekeeping is a highly skilled profession, requiring multiple skills. Let’s face it – you are getting a professional cleaner, personal assistant, personal shopper, and potentially a cook or even a chef – all in one person! As it is a tremendous time-saving investment, high-quality candidates can reasonably expect to be paid accordingly.
Depending on the geographical area an experienced housekeeper can expect a salary starting from £20K per annum and up to £45K in London areas. The figure also depends on other benefits offered – such as accommodation, access to facilities and sustenance, and of course, the range of duties.
We understand that you may not need a full-time housekeeper – we can tailor the service to you if you require part-time help.
How do you operate in the current COVID19 restrictions?
Your and our candidates’ safety is paramount. All our interviews and meetings we carry out via video calls. We also undertake COVID-19 due diligence before our housekeepers start a job, by obtaining a note from their GP for your peace of mind.
We have housekeepers who are available to start as soon as possible subject to the above checks and are happy to self-isolate with families on a live-in basis if required.

Our Aftercare Housekeeping Program
Housekeepers are the eyes and ears of your home, keeping it clean and safe. They have an intimate understanding of your habits and schedules to ensure they can care for your home and needs, in the way you want to be cared for. You may have very specific ideas on how you want your home or hotel organised and cleaned. Whether you want to maintain high levels of control or prefer a hands-off approach, your housekeeper normally works alone.
It can be a very lonely and demanding job with very little interaction, except when things go wrong. I know this having spent 20 years in the industry.
As a result, I have created the After – Care Housekeeper program. It involves having 1-hour Zoom meeting once a month to discuss:
1. Positive achievements on small projects (such as reorganising a wardrobe, cleaning brass or cleaning all pots and pans in the kitchen)
2. Any challenges and how to best deal with them
3. Encouraging feedback from you, the client, Including any new projects you want undertaking, any changes to the job description and the way things are getting done
4. Coaching on best practice and answering any questions.
5. Identifying anything your housekeeper may need to do their job even better
This monthly communication process helps keeps your housekeep motivated to do the best they can without losing motivation. This can be a common issue amongst housekeepers in general and something our clients often complain about.
To summarise – not only can we recruit your full or part-time housekeeper but for a small monthly fee, we can support you to get the most out of your housekeeper and keep them motivated with weekly blogs and discussions on the best practices in the housekeeping arena.
